Choose The Woods

These are three main woods I use, which you can choose from, in combinations. They are from North America, and are a renewable resource. (Contact me about other woods.) Sugar Maple (also called Hard, Rock, or Eastern maple) Very hard, which gives notes a brighter, bell-like sound. Resistant to damage. Color whitish, turning yellowish-brown with time Black Cherry Relatively soft, giving a softer musical tone.
