QualityI was trained as a cabinet maker in Germany and I emphasize quality in workmanship and materials. Each harp is unique, depending upon woods and variations in woodworking. Each is individually crafted -- I build them one at a time. I invite you to come to my shop, discuss harp design principles, choose the wood you want, and visit me while I am building your harp. One Harp Design Instead of offering many versions of harps, including cheaper versions for students, I have concentrated on one harp design I have developed through the years, that I feel is the optimum for a serious, full-size, "Celtic" or "Folk" harp. Music Range All my harps are 36 string (C to C), with a full set of Loveland levers, because this gives you the best range and versatility. See "Range" to compare the harp with other instruments. Features The harps have smoothly rounded, solid wood backs for strength, comfort, and "huggability," and solid spruce soundboard for lifetime resonance.See Features. Options You can select type of wood, carving, case, etc. See Options. |
| Below are pictures of recent harps demonstrating
my current design. Click on them for a larger
view. Also see Pictures for more examples showing wood and decorating variations in some of my past harps. |
