Learn more about "Celtic" / "Folk" Harps
Pictish harps, Roman times
The terms "Celtic" and "Folk" harp
basically refer to the same kind of harp,
where strings are sharpened with hand levers.

Orchestra "Pedal" harps use foot pedals,
and are bigger and much more expensive.

(Note - the smaller Lap harp is designed as a
portable instrument for harpists. It is more difficult to play
and is not recommended for beginners.)
